Souma suggests the others to keep meeting on the roof, just to see what happens. However, she can’t save for 24 hours after a reset and she can’t remember what happened, since the Reset affects her too. They then go again on the rooftop, where Haruki has tried to use the Reset again, unsuccessfully: she explains that she can reset everything as far as three days prior, given she has saved beforehand. He decides to confront with Souma, who tells him that she didn’t present on the rooftop just because she wanted him and Haruki to become friends: she also adds that an important reason for them to be friends is the Reset. Kei finds himself again in front of his locker, but immediately remembers everything that has happened thanks to his ability, which enables him to remember everything he has experienced. While talking, Haruki notices a little girl crying on the street and decides to use the Reset, resetting everything to the previous day.
Following the instructions, he goes on the rooftop only to find Misora Haruki: she has also been invited by Souma and she is waiting for her. Kei Asai, a middle school student of Sakurada, finds a love letter in his shoe-locker from one of his schoolmates, Sumire Souma, that asks him to meet her on the south building rooftop the next day.
